It is good but it had some hard lumps of sugar that were hard to break apart.
I got this because I wanted a little different take on pull pork for my smoker. I use a dry rub to get everything started and rather than white or brown sugar I thought going the maple route would be a decent choice. It was! :) It adds that extra layer of depth without requiring a wet rub, as would have been the case with syrup. Definitely a wise choice, IMHO...

I'm a New Englander born and bred, so I know GREAT real maple syrup when I taste it! This Organic Maple Sugar from Middle Maples Farm Vermont tastes just like top notch, authentic maple syrup. And it's organic! I first tried mine sprinkled on some steamed kabocha squash, a long with a generous oat of butter. My entire family ate all they were served, no complaints. That's how delicious this maple sugar is! No doubt I will find many more ways to use it. A little goes a long ways so this bag will last a good while for me.
